Starting from the beatiful and historic Pin Mill, the setting of Arthur Ransome's famous book, on the shores of the river Orwell in the Suffolk Coasts and Heaths AONB.
We follow footpaths across the fields to the river Stour. We then walk along the shoreline to the tip of the Penisula at Shotley, pausing by the HMS Ganges Museum at the Marina for lunch. We return to Pin Mill on the Orwell following sections of the Stour and Orwell Walk.
